Monthly Recap — June 2021

So, June has come to an end, which means it's time for a new monthly recap. As we explained last month, these blog posts have the intention to give our users a quick overview of the platform's development progress. We'll talk about what we've been doing this month, what to expect for July, and some other stuff.

End of our LTD campaign

As most of you already know, we run a lifetime deal campaign on Dealify that has finished this month. It has been our first LTD campaign, and we can say the results have been excellent for Senseily.

The most important reward for us has been the tremendous amount of fantastic feedback we've received from our users. Very insightful and helpful comments are helping us develop the platform in the right direction, and learning how our users use the platform and their specific needs have been crucial to adjust and make some changes to meet those.

Apart from that, the cash boost it has generated will allow us to hire professionals to improve the overall experience and speed up the development of Senseily.

Changes and improvements

We're constantly working on improving the platform and adding new features to it. Here are some of the changes and improvements we've made to the platform this month:

  • New audio lessons
  • New media lessons
  • Coupons for 1-on-1's
  • Coupon redeem lists
  • New Student views for courses and 1-on-1's
  • Manually scheduling 1-on-1's
  • Student mass enrollments
  • Manual enrollments
  • Audience import/export
  • Student login improvements
  • New Dashboard view
  • Audience tags & notes
  • Activity log (in preparation for webhooks)
  • Preview courses: view courses as your students
  • Navigation bar improvements
  • Video upload improvements
  • Visual and responsive improvements

These are just some of the changes we've made to the platform. To see the complete list, make sure to check out our changelog.

Progress made on other features

We've also made significant progress on other cool features that we'll be implementing soon.

First of all, we've almost finished developing the initial version of the webinars feature. We expect to implement webinars by the end of this week.

Secondly, we've also made substantial progress on our in-house page builder. Together with your feedback, we're developing a powerful page builder that we expect to be live by the end of July.

Lastly, we've been exploring ways to implement AI/ML to boost School's and student's experience overall. This feature could see many uses, one of them being the generation of sales copy for your pages. We're actively listening to your feedback for ideas on how we can make this technology help your business and your students succeed. Should you have any comments on AI/ML implementation, please reach out to us here.

What to expect for July

This month we're aiming for the following:

The first thing we want to do is to implement webinars, the embeddable Senseily checkout, student comments & questions on lessons and an overall UX/UI revamp of both the Senseily website and web app.

Also, as we're actively adjusting to match our user's needs, for that reason, some of the features we had planned for last month had to be paused. So, we want to focus on finishing some of those as well. That means we'll be working on:

  • Quizzes
  • New payment options: subscriptions & split payments
  • Webhooks
  • Pre-orders
  • Drip (scheduled) content
  • Email sending

Last but not least, this month, we also want to focus on improving our community and social media channels and all the documentation related to our platform.

Special thanks and commitment message

To end this post, we'd like to thank all of our users and everyone supporting the project in any way. We're thrilled with how Senseily is evolving, and that couldn't be possible without your support.

We'd also want to share with you our firm commitment to making Senseily the best platform for managing your online course and coaching services business. We'll keep working non-stop to make it possible.

Many great things will be happening soon, but we can't share them with you just yet, so please bear with us.

See you at next month's recap.

Thank you! 💚
Your friends at Senseily.
