Monthly Recap — May 2021

Hello! The Senseily team here! 👋

We are starting a new series of blog posts that will be happening every month. With these posts, we want to share what we have been working on and where we are headed next. We'll also write about any other topic that we feel might be important to our users.

LTD campaign
As many of you might know, back on May 12 we launched a lifetime deal campaign on Dealify. This campaingn will go on for a whole month. This means it will be ending by June 12. So, if you are thinking about purchasing a Senseily lifetime deal code, don't wait until the campaign ends.

So far, the campaign has been a success for us. On the one hand, we are receiving tons of helpful feedback, ideas and feature requests from our users. This helps us go in the right direction to build the product our users need and love. On the other hand, it will provide us with a nice cash boost. That will help us speed up the whole development process of the platform and the implementation of really cool new features.

New features, improvements and bug fixes
Since we started the lifetime deal campaign, we have received a tremendous increase in users signing up into Senseily. This means more users reporting bugs and other issues regarding the platform. This is why we have been focused on fixing many errors to make sure the basics of the platform work as intended. And, this following month of June, we'll begin with the implementation of more significant features.

Some of the new features we have added to the platform are:
  • A new lesson type: rich text lessons
  • Adding your own custom favicon
  • Student email verification
  • 130+ new currencies
  • Connect an exiting Stripe standard account. This feature has been developed but remains unpublished until our legal team can clarify some related topics
We have also made some improvements to already existing features:
  • A brand new course student interface
  • The ability to manually remove contacts and students
  • Some course curriculum editor improvements
  • And also, many bug fixes

These are just a few. To view the complete and detailed list, make sure to check our changelog page out.

Facebook community
As requested by some of our users, we have created a new Senseily Community group related to our Senseily Facebook page.

The idea behind this group is to promote productivity and positivity. The Senseily Community on Facebook is a place to ask business questions and support others along their journey with Senseily. Encourage each other and share your expertise, skills and wisdom!
Make sure to check our Facebook group and connect with other users to improve your online course business experience.

What's coming this month
As we have explained earlier, we have dedicated most of last month to fix bugs and issues regarding the platform's basic functionalities. This month of June, we'll start implementing more exciting features.

Some of the features you can expect this month are:
  • New product: webinars
  • New product: bundles
  • New lesson type: media lesson (adding/embedding external content)
  • Some lesson type improvements
  • Graded and exportable quizzes and surveys
  • New payment type: subscriptions
  • New payment type: split payments

And many more. Remember, you can always check our public roadmap page for more details.

Thank you!
At Senseily, we want to send an honest thank you message to all people helping us to make building the platform possible. From all of our users to anyone providing us with helpful feedback, ideas, or requests.

We want to make sure our users get a product they love. And, for that, we are actively listening to them and evaluating every piece of feedback to ensure we are going in the right direction.
One of our top priorities is to repay your trust in us. We are working non-stop to bring unique features to you as soon as possible.

Thank you! 💚
Your friends at Senseily.
